She's a former nun, an Army major, a lawyer, a college professor and a physician. Now Dr. Barbara Bellar wants to be a state senator from Illinois, and she has one question about ObamaCare.
“What the blank could possibly go wrong?†Bellar asks, tongue in cheek, after delivering a one-sentence indictment of President Obama's health care law.
Bellar, a Republican candidate running for office in the state’s 18th district, gave the extended one-liner while warming up the crowd at a recent event for GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney. Someone captured it on video, and now the doctor's diagnosis of the Affordable Care Act is an Internet sensation with more than 2 million views.
“So, let me get this straight. This is a long sentence,†Bellar begins.
“We are going to be gifted with a health care plan that we are forced to purchase, and fined if we don’t,†Bellar continues, “signed by a president who smokes, with funding administered by a treasury chief who didn't pay his taxes, by a government which has already bankrupted Social Security and Medicare, all to be overseen by a surgeon general who is obese, and financed by a country that’s broke.â€

Bellar then launched into a longer speech, but the friendly crowd at the event dubbed "Women for Romney/Ryan," was already in the palm of her hand..
“I had no idea I was being videotaped,†Bellar told FoxNews.com. “I meant it as a light opener to a more serious issue. It did take on a life of its own."
But Bellar, who is running for office for the first time, has strong feelings about ObamaCare, which she considers an “erosion†of rights. She is seeking to succeed Edward Maloney, who is retiring from the district, which includes Chicago's 19th Ward, and has picked up the endorsement of the Chicago Tribune.
The title of senator would be just the latest entry on an interesting and lengthy resume. Bellar was a Benedictine nun for nearly five years, although she left before she completed her final vows. She is a major in the U.S. Army Reserves, runs a family medical practice, teaches part time at both Benedictine and DePaul universities and practices law.Â
“I’ve been fortunate," Bellar said. "I’m just a life-long learner and have always wanted to help serve others.â€
Of the upcoming election, Bellar says that she plans to shake up the statehouse where President Obama got his start in politics.
“They will not know what hit them,†she said.

It's because FoxNews and Rupert Murdoch endorse Hillary Clinton for President. Though they don't openly admit it, they are very bias against Obama, and Murdoch has held fundraisers for the Clinton campaign.

I don't think he's playing dumb, I think he really is dumb. He can resist it all he wants but it's coming. Obama is in touch with the younger voters and they ain't buying all this crap people are saying about Obama. You know......as if it wasn't enough to accept that 58 million Americans voted for Bush and that took us all into an uncontrollable downward spiral into the worst economy in history.....but people still defend the monkey. Therefore...it is crucial not to trust every other American these days....they are ignorant. Yes, Obama will change everything.....so the people trying to stop Obama in his tracks are basically fearing true change...even change that will benefit their own families and children!!!! I don't think you pay attention to economic issues. We had tax cuts. The rich got a break but not as much as the middle class. Pay attention, I know you love Obama, he doesn't make it too complicated. Empty speeches, glitz and glamour. You hope he can change the divisiveness. Wrong, he is a big racist, and the worse tax and spend liberal, his voting record is scant if any. He doesnt vote. Will he spend any time in the office. Will he continue to campaign the next 4 years. How much time will he spend in Africa and how much of our money will go with him over there?
