Question by Smart Guy: What is "National Cheese Sacrifice Purchase Day", and what are some good ways to celebrate it? I have recently read about a holiday called "National Cheese Sacrifice Purchase day". I know it is about 8 months away (July 29th), but I would like to know how it is commonly celebrated, and what I should do on this day, or you could give me some creative ideas. Thank you for all your help! (And please, no links. I have searched all over the internet for it and have found nothing.) Buy a mug: http://www.cafepress.com/bornonthisday.61660052 It sounds like a new holiday, so maybe it's up to you to decide the traditions. I would make a nice Fankhauser mozzarella, sacrifice it to my ancestors, and then take it to make a lovely lasagna, thereby killing two birds with one stone, because July 29th is also National Lasagna Day. Everyday is a holiday! Enjoy yours!
