Question by Ron: Why do immigrants consider the country they originally came FROM as "their country"? Once you get citizenship to a new country, that country is no longer your country, you betrayed it and now it is irrelevant to you. The country you immigrated to is now your one and only country (unless you have joint citizenships or some other rare exception to the rule). Came from: were: originally: from......... all past tense. It's about the NOW. Best answer for Why do immigrants consider the country they originally came FROM as "their country"?:

Vice President Biden and Paul Ryan took the stage Thursday night in Danville, Ky., for their sole debate, at a time when the race could be hitting a turning point.
Their face-off has taken on outsized importance.
After President Obamaâs lackluster debate last week against Mitt Romney, the pressure was on Biden to recapture the momentum â" while equally on Ryan to prevent the Obama ticket from blunting Romneyâs surge.
In a matter of days, Romney has picked up steam in battleground and national polls. The latest Fox News national poll of likely voters showed Romney edging Obama, 46 percent to 45 percent.
Obama has acknowledged he had a "bad night" in the presidential debate, but the campaign indicates it will be more aggressive going forward.
There are two more presidential debates, on Oct. 16 and Oct. 22. The next one will be a town hall format focusing on a range of issues, and the last one will focus exclusively on foreign policy.
